  1. Interesting to see the menswear more toned down like this - the runway presentation was a lot more intricate and detailed, this feels much more modern and in tune with the womenswear

  2. Haider is just simply demi-urgic.

Yeah - the collection at Pitti Imagine last year was pretty ground breaking as far as Haider should be concerned. Who could refuse a set of languid, imperial pajamas? I'd love the lapis blue robe and the peacock slippers. I hope he feels inspired in the future to re-start his menswear project - as he has officially discontinued it until further notice.

I've never seen anybody...ANYBODY capture the demi-urge like Haider. Not even McQueen. Haider is just simply heart-wrenching. I just put 'A Thousand Kisses Deep' on my ipod. Thank you for your comment. I love in-put and discussion...please keep it coming!

  3. I enjoyed your analysis of the Savage Beauty exhibit - I've yet to see it but plan on going next week.

This is old but it certainly bothers me given the fact the man is no longer with us: http://www.zimbio.com/Alexander+McQueen/articles/6/FASHION+article+entry
